How soon can I have sex again?

Had the injection on Tuesday. Partner is being treated Friday. Working out when we can stop avoiding each other.

The standard advice is to wait a week after treatment, and crucially a week after your partner’s treatment as well, not after yours.

So on your dates the clock effectively runs from Friday, not Tuesday.

Also wait until symptoms have resolved, if you had any. The week is a minimum rather than a guarantee.

This is the single most common reason people end up back in the clinic. Going back too early, or before the partner is done, and then being genuinely baffled by a second positive.
