Can I go to work?

Diagnosed yesterday. Feeling like I should be quarantining and aware that might be ridiculous.

It is ridiculous, in the kindest sense. They are not transmitted by sitting near people, sharing a desk, or using the same chair. Close body contact is what spreads them.

Go to work. Treat them properly. Nothing about your day needs to change.

The exception worth mentioning is a job with a lot of physical closeness, and even there a day after correct treatment removes the concern entirely.

The shame around this one is out of all proportion to what it is. It is an insect that likes coarse hair and it is treated with a bottle of lotion.
