Metallic taste and I feel dreadful

Three days into the course. Persistent metal taste, no appetite, slight headache. Is this normal or am I reacting badly?

Metallic taste is one of the most commonly reported effects of this drug family and it is not a sign of anything going wrong. Nausea and headache are also on the list.

It usually resolves within a few days of finishing.

Taking it with food helps some people, and strongly flavoured things like mints or citrus make the taste more bearable. Small things but they got me through the week.

What is not normal and does need a call: a rash, numbness or tingling, or severe vomiting that stops you keeping doses down. Those are different from feeling generally grim.
