Home treatment or clinic treatment, how did you choose?

Offered a cream to use at home or appointments to have them treated in clinic. No strong steer either way and I cannot work out how to decide.

Roughly: home treatments are creams or solutions you apply over weeks, clinic treatments are physical removal in a few minutes. Neither is better across the board, they suit different situations.

Home suits people who can apply it accurately and would rather not attend repeatedly. Clinic suits awkward locations, or wanting it dealt with now, or not trusting yourself to apply something correctly.

Practical factors nobody mentions: how far the clinic is, whether you can take time off, and whether you can see the area properly. I chose clinic purely because I could not reach mine reliably.

Whichever you pick, expect several rounds and expect new ones between them. That is the normal course rather than a sign the choice was wrong.
