How do I know if it has become PID?

Treated last week, still not right. Someone mentioned PID and now I do not know what I am watching for.

The things that should take you back in are pelvic or lower abdominal pain, pain during sex, bleeding between periods or after sex, and fever. Any of those after a gonorrhoea or chlamydia diagnosis is a same week appointment, not a wait and see.

PID is treated with a different and longer course, so it is not something the original treatment covers.

Do not talk yourself out of going because you were only just treated. Being seen twice is not an imposition, and the cost of catching it late is the part everyone here worries about.

Also mention if you have an IUD or any recent gynaecological procedure. It changes what they consider.
