Side effects in the first weeks of treatment

Started treatment ten days ago and I feel rough. Tired, unsettled stomach, odd sleep. Is this the thing everyone warns about or should I be calling?

Early side effects are common and most settle within the first few weeks as your body adjusts. Tiredness and stomach upset are the usual suspects.

What is not a wait it out situation: rash, fever, breathing trouble, yellowing of the eyes or skin, or anything severe. Those are call today.

Do not stop taking it because you feel rough. Interrupted treatment is a much bigger problem than side effects, and if something genuinely is not tolerable there are alternatives to switch to.

Ring and say what is happening rather than deciding alone.

Mine settled around week three and I had almost convinced myself it would be like that permanently. Tell them anyway, they may just have a practical suggestion about when you take it.
