Missed two doses. Do I start the whole course again?

Busy few days and I lost track. Two doses missed, not consecutive. Do I carry on, extend by a day, or start over?

NoteMember experience, not medical advice. Symptoms overlap between infections and only a test can tell them apart.

Do not guess and do not quietly do nothing, which is what I did the first time. If you are unsure the course was adequate, that is a reason to ask for a test of cure, not a reason to hope.

Ring the clinic, because this is exactly the kind of question they answer in thirty seconds and the answer depends on where in the course you are.

The general principle is that a couple of missed doses spread out is usually managed by continuing and finishing the full number of doses rather than starting again.

Setting an alarm on a phone for the rest of the course sounds patronising and it is also the thing that fixed this for me. Twice daily for a week is genuinely easy to lose track of.
