Blurred vision and a recent diagnosis

Diagnosed a fortnight ago, treated. Vision in one eye has gone blurry over the last two days.

Agreed entirely. Emergency department or urgent eye service, whichever you can reach fastest. It is treated differently and more intensively than routine syphilis, so getting the diagnosis in front of them matters.

Get seen today, urgently, and say the word syphilis to whoever you see. Visual symptoms in someone with syphilis need same day assessment because ocular involvement can occur at any stage and is sight threatening if left.

This is not a wait for the next appointment situation and not a forum question.

For anyone reading later: new visual symptoms or hearing changes with a syphilis diagnosis are the two that get you seen immediately. Please do not sit on either.
