Can I have sex during treatment?

Nobody said either way. There is cream involved and lesions involved and I do not know what the rules are.

Two separate issues. One is the treatment itself: several of the topical treatments should not be in contact with a partner and can damage condoms, so the usual advice is to avoid sex while the product is on the skin.

The other is transmission, which is a longer conversation and does not end when treatment does.

Ask specifically about condoms with whatever you were given, because some of these products weaken latex. That detail is easy to miss on a leaflet and it matters.

Practically, most people wait until the course is finished and the skin has settled. Sore treated skin is not comfortable anyway, so the clinical advice and the obvious advice point the same way.
