Discharge stopped but the burning did not

Ten days since treatment. Discharge gone within two days, burning when passing urine still there.

Go back. Persistent symptoms after treatment need assessment rather than patience, and there are several possibilities worth separating.

It could be a second untreated infection, it could be inflammation that takes longer to settle than the infection itself, or it could be something that is not an infection at all.

Mycoplasma genitalium is the one that often turns out to be behind this. It causes similar symptoms, it is not covered by gonorrhoea treatment, and it is not in most standard screens.

Mention whether you have had sex since treatment and whether your partner was treated, because reinfection is the other common explanation and the timeline you have would fit it.
