Pubic lice

Do I need to tell everyone I have slept with?

It feels like a much less serious thing to raise than an infection, but also they would probably want to know.

NoteMember experience, not medical advice. Symptoms overlap between infections and only a test can tell them apart.

Tell recent partners, which in practice usually means the last few months. They will not know otherwise and they may well be carrying them without symptoms yet.

Clinics use a look back period for this like they do for other infections. Ask what they suggest for your situation.

It is a much easier conversation than the ones people have here about other things. It is treatable, it is not dangerous, and most people respond with mild embarrassment rather than anything worse.

Worth adding a sentence about getting a fuller screen. Having one infection is a reason to check for others, and that applies here as much as anywhere.
