Pubic lice

How long until I am not contagious?

Treated yesterday. Partner, gym, shared house. When am I safe to be around people normally?

Ordinary daily contact was never the risk. They spread through prolonged close body contact, mainly sexual, and to a much lesser extent through shared bedding or towels. The gym and the shared kitchen are not how this travels.

What matters is avoiding sexual contact until you and any partners have completed treatment and there is nothing live.

The second application, if your product calls for one, is part of completing treatment. Not after the first round.

Nobody in your house is at risk from sharing a bathroom. That was my first panic too and it wasted an evening of cleaning.
