Missed doses. How bad is it actually?

Missed two days in a row when I was away. Panicking about resistance.

NoteMember experience, not medical advice. Symptoms overlap between infections and only a test can tell them apart.

Tell your clinic. Two days is not a catastrophe with most modern regimens, and the honest conversation is far more useful than the silent worry.

Resistance develops from sustained partial adherence over time more than from an isolated gap, but the assessment is theirs to make with your history in front of them.

They will not tell you off. Adherence is a practical problem they deal with daily and they would much rather hear about it than discover it through a rising viral load six months later.

If travel is the trigger, that is a fixable problem. A spare supply kept elsewhere, or a conversation about long acting options, both solve it.
