Partner has no symptoms. Does he really need treatment?

I was diagnosed, he feels completely fine and thinks he does not need anything. I do not know how hard to push.

Push. Trichomoniasis very often produces no symptoms at all, particularly in men, so feeling fine is not evidence of anything.

An untreated partner is the standard explanation for symptoms coming back weeks after successful treatment. This exact thing has its own thread on this forum more than once.

The other part is timing. Guidance is generally to avoid sex until you have both been treated and symptoms have settled, not just until you personally feel better. Treating him a month later is not the same as treating him alongside you.

If he will not go, ask your clinic what they can do. Some services can arrange treatment for a partner without them attending, and where they cannot, partner notification can at least get him a letter telling him to be tested.
