Gonorrhea

Rash and aching joints a week after diagnosis

Treated ten days ago. Now have a few spots on my hands and both wrists ache. Probably unrelated but I have read the other threads here.

NoteMember experience, not medical advice. Symptoms overlap between infections and only a test can tell them apart.

Agreed. Go, and tell them explicitly about the recent diagnosis and the date of treatment. That single sentence changes what they consider first.

Please get this looked at today rather than waiting for a reply here. That combination after a gonorrhoea diagnosis is the picture people are told to watch for, and it needs assessing in person.

It may well turn out to be something else entirely. That is a conclusion for a clinician the same day, not for a forum.

Let us know how you get on if you feel like it. And for anyone reading later: this is the one on this board where waiting to see is the wrong instinct.
