    Treated eight days ago and there’s still discharge, less than before but definitely there. I don’t know whether to wait it out or go back.

Member experience, not medical advice. Symptoms overlap between infections and only a test can tell them apart.

    Go back. Not to panic, but because there are a few different explanations and they need different responses: irritation that’s still settling, a second infection that was never treated because it wasn’t tested for, or reinfection from an untreated partner.

    Persistent symptoms after treatment is one of the situations where clinics actually want to see you again. It isn’t a nuisance visit.

    Mine turned out to be a second infection alongside it that the first round didn’t cover. Cleared once that was treated too. Please do go back rather than waiting.
